Founded in April, 1992 by Stewart Jones for "Offshore performance boats from 20' to 60', single to multi engines," FPC's Mission Statement is "To promote safe, responsible powerboating in a group setting and assist performance boating enthusiasts in many ways to achieve the maximum
enjoyment from their Florida powerboating lifestyles."
"There are more than a dozen powerboating events planned yearly throughout Florida and the Florida Keys as well as the Bahamas. Events range from 1-day to 7-day excursions, including rallies and Poker Runs." Current membership roster about 500+ members.

Myers Offshore (FMO) had its early beginnings in the spring of 2005. Back then it consisted of a dozen friends with and without offshore boats from Marco Island to Cape Coral, FL. In the summer of 2008......Ft. Myers Offshore, Inc. was incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) charity under Florida State law with a board of 5 officers and directors. All positions are voluntary and without compensation."

Myers offshore, Inc. is a not-for profit corporation consisting of a group of offshore boating enthusiasts in Southwest Florida, dedicated to raising funds and awarding a number of academic scholarships each year to help worthy individuals graduating from high school, continue their education at institutions of higher learning including college and university as approved by the Board of Directors.' was "Conceived in 1976 with various regional events and
up-graded in 1982 to national events, the N.P.B.A.'s boating
experience assures premium shows and quality products."

The "New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club (NJPPC) is
a 200+ member strong organization is one of the most prolific
clubs around. Our members are passionate about attending
offshore races, poker runs and boat shows."
NJPPC was formed in 1999 by Ray Patnaude, Bob Cleve-
land & Rick Engstrom. "Safety is also a high priotity for
NJPPC. All of the club's events include the services of
paramedics and divers. ...Lifejackets are also required to be
worn during all poker run events. ... The average boat
owned by an NJPPC member is 32 feet."
